Sober Fam is only for adults. By using it you confirm you are at least 18.

Sober Fam is a progress tracker and peer-support space. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not an emergency or crisis service. Nothing other users post is professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your health, and never stop a medication or stop drinking heavily without medical advice — withdrawal can be dangerous.

If you’re in crisis or in danger, go to Get help now, call or text 988 in the US, or call 911.

• Give accurate sign-up information and keep your password private. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don’t impersonate anyone or use a username that’s offensive or misleading.
• Don’t try to break, overload, scrape or get around the app’s security, privacy protections or limits.

Everything you post — comments, Community posts, names and item labels others can see — must follow the Community Guidelines.

We moderate with automatic filters, reports from users, temporary restrictions (for example a posting mute or a suspension that expires), and human review. Some text is blocked automatically. Posts reported by enough people may be hidden pending review. Permanent removal only ever follows human review — there are no automatic permanent bans.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Matchd LLC permission to store, display and share it inside Sober Fam, with the people you choose, only as needed to run the app. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion is immediate and permanent. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Community Guidelines, or to protect people’s safety.

Sober Fam is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will always be available or error-free, or that figures such as streaks or money saved are exact.

To the extent the law allows, Matchd LLC isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for anything other users post or do. Our total liability for any claim about Sober Fam is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (Sober Fam is currently free).

If we make material changes, we’ll update the date and version above and ask you to agree again before you continue using the app.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
